Cultivating the Future: Smart AgriTech Innovation with IoT Solutions

Reliable connectivity and IoT infrastructure for companies building the future of smart farming.

Global Connectivity

Deploy a single SKU with our multi-IMSI roaming SIMs that automatically connect to the best local network in 180+ countries.

Always-On Coverage

Our SIMs are network-agnostic, SIMs can switch carriers automatically  to maintain a persistent connection even in the most isolated fields.

Battery Longevity

We match devices to NB-IoT and LTE-M protocols designed to keep low-power sensors running for 10+ years on a single charge.

Central Fleet Control

Use our centralised management platform to diagnose, reboot, and update your entire fleet's connectivity remotely from one dashboard.

AgriTech IoT Connectivity

The Backbone of Your AgriTech Solution

Developing a market-leading agricultural solution is hard enough without worrying about connectivity dead zones or cross-border roaming issues. At Millbeck, we partner with AgriTech OEMs and system integrators to provide the mission-critical IoT foundations your hardware requires.

From precision sensors to livestock wearables, autonomous machinery, and aerial surveillance platforms, we make sure your devices stay connected, manageable, and secure anywhere they are deployed.

What Millbeck Provides

Global Connectivity, Locally Delivered

Do not let borders limit your market. Our multi-network roaming SIMs, including eUICC options, allow your devices to connect to the strongest available signal across 180+ countries.

  • Single-SKU Deployment: use the same SIM for every device, regardless of where it is shipped.
  • Zero-Touch Provisioning: devices connect automatically the moment they are powered on in the field.

Optimised for Remote Environments

Agriculture happens where the signal is often weakest. We supply the cellular technologies that are actually designed for it.

  • NB-IoT and LTE-M: suited to battery-operated sensors requiring deep indoor or underground penetration, and long service lives on a single charge.
  • Satellite-Cellular Convergence: for genuinely off-grid applications, we are developing hybrid satellite and cellular capability. Talk to us about roadmap timing if this is critical to your deployment.

LoRaWAN Sensor Networks with Cellular Backhaul

Many AgriTech deployments cover thousands of acres with hundreds of low-cost sensors for soil moisture, temperature, humidity, nutrient levels, and water tank monitoring. Running a SIM in every sensor is rarely the right economic or technical answer.

As a Milesight partner, we supply LoRaWAN gateways and sensors that give you long-range, low-power coverage across the farm, paired with a Millbeck IoT SIM at the gateway to handle backhaul to the cloud. A single LoRaWAN gateway can typically cover large areas and connect to hundreds of sensor nodes at a fraction of the per-device connectivity cost of pure cellular.

  • Sensors: Milesight soil, weather, water, and environmental sensors with multi-year battery life.
  • Gateways: Milesight LoRaWAN gateways with cellular backhaul via Millbeck SIMs for the link back to your platform or cloud.

Livestock Tracking and Monitoring

Livestock wearables have moved from concept to commercial reality. GPS collars and ear tags now routinely monitor location, heart rate, rumination patterns, body temperature, and behavioural changes that indicate illness before visible symptoms appear.

The connectivity challenge for livestock is that animals move across large, often remote areas where a single-carrier SIM will drop out. Millbeck multi-network SIMs keep trackers connected across the grazing range, and for lower-bandwidth wearables we can match devices to NB-IoT or LTE-M profiles that deliver multi-year battery life on a single charge. For dense herds on a fixed site, LoRaWAN wearables paired with a cellular-backhauled gateway can be significantly more cost-effective per head.

Autonomous Machinery and Precision Equipment

Self-driving tractors, robotic weeders, precision sprayers, and variable-rate application equipment have very different connectivity needs from passive sensors. They demand low latency, higher bandwidth, and consistent uplink for telemetry, mapping data, and remote oversight.

Our multi-network 4G and 5G SIMs paired with ruggedised Teltonika or Milesight cellular routers deliver the throughput autonomous equipment needs, while fixed IP options support secure remote diagnostics, firmware updates, and fleet management. For fleet operators running autonomous kit across multiple sites, pooled data plans mean the tractor working flat out on harvest week does not get throttled just as the season peaks.

Hardware, Modules, and Certification

Reduce your R&D overhead by working with our portfolio of pre-certified cellular modules, ruggedised routers, and SIMs designed for embedded integration.

  • Embedded Modules: LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, and 5G modules suitable for direct integration into your own PCB designs.
  • Ruggedised Routers: industrial-grade hardware built for moisture, dust, vibration, and wide operating temperature ranges, with appropriate IP ratings for outdoor and enclosure use.
  • End-to-End Security: protect proprietary data with private APNs and encrypted data tunnels.

Scalable Management Platforms

Manage a fleet of thousands as easily as a dozen. Our Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) gives your team:

  • Real-Time Diagnostics: identify and resolve connection issues remotely before your customers notice.
  • Data Usage Control: set alerts and caps to manage margins and prevent bill shock on devices that behave unexpectedly.

Why AgriTech Developers Partner with Millbeck

  • Engineering-First Support: we speak your language. Our technical team helps you optimise data payloads to maximise battery life and minimise connectivity costs over the device lifecycle. For low-power sensors, payload design is often the single biggest lever on total cost of ownership.
  • Carrier Agnostic: we are not tied to a single network. We find the right path for your specific hardware and geographic requirements.
  • Rapid Deployment: we support you from SIM trials and pilot integration through to full-scale rollout, at whatever pace suits your development cycle.
