Milesight UR41
When you need reliable, low power LTE (CAT4 or CAT1) 4G connectivity with small form factor, Serial connectivity and GPS, then the Milesight UR41 is the answer.
Mini 4G routers for solar, battery and embedded deployments
The Milesight UR41 and UR41L are mini 4G industrial routers for space-limited and low-power sites. Both offer isolated DI/DO, switchable RS232/RS485, and standby modes for solar or battery installs. The UR41 adds Cat 4 speed and GPS; the UR41L runs Cat 1 for telemetry. Remote management is via the Milesight Development Platform.
Small enough to fit, tough enough to trust
Cat 4 or Cat 1, GPS or no GPS. Both the UR41 and UR41L share the same rugged hardware, the same industrial interfaces, and the same low-power design.
Draws just 6.3 mA at 12 V in standby and 78 mA idle. Wake the router on a schedule, an SMS or a digital input. Power it from 5 to 24 V DC or over USB-C. Low enough for solar and battery-powered sites.
One serial port switches between RS232 and RS485 in software, with a 120 Ω terminator switch built in. Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Modbus gateway and DLMS client are all on board. Connect meters, PLCs and RTUs with no extra converter.
One isolated digital input and one digital output handle field signals directly. Trigger the output from the input, an SMS, Modbus or MQTT. Report input state the same way. No separate I/O module needed.
The UR41 adds multi-constellation GNSS: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS, at 2.5 m open-air accuracy. Forward position over serial, TCP, UDP or MQTT. Fit it to mobile plant and vehicles. The UR41L covers fixed-site telemetry without GPS.
