Panorama Antennas Launches the TF Range of Embedded Antennas

The London-based antenna manufacturer expands into the embedded market with five compact, flexible PCB antennas designed for IoT, industrial and OEM applications.

In Short

Panorama Antennas has launched the TF range, its first dedicated family of embedded antennas. Five flexible PCB models cover Wi-Fi 6E and 7, 4G and 5G cellular, and 868/915 MHz LPWAN bands, all ground-plane independent for easier integration into compact OEM enclosures. As a Panorama Alliance Partner, Millbeck supplies the full TF range alongside the wider Panorama portfolio, with technical advice on antenna selection for embedded designs.

A New Embedded Range From a UK Antenna Specialist

Panorama Antennas, the UK-headquartered specialist in RF antenna design and manufacturing, has launched the TF range, its first dedicated family of embedded antennas. The move marks a strategic expansion for the company, which has built its reputation since 1947 supplying external antennas for critical communications, transport and enterprise connectivity.

The TF range is built around flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) technology, allowing each antenna to be integrated directly into device enclosures where space is at a premium. All five models in the initial line-up are ground-plane independent, meaning they deliver consistent performance regardless of whether the host device has a metallic ground structure. That is a common challenge in embedded RF design, and it is the reason many OEM antenna projects need late-stage rework when a different, ground-plane-dependent part is specified.

Five Models at Launch

The initial TF range covers the key frequency bands used across modern IoT, cellular and wireless applications.

TFD-24-58-72
Flexible Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 PCB antenna covering the full 2.4 GHz to 7.125 GHz spectrum for next-generation wireless connectivity.
2400–7125 MHz
TFM2-24-58-72
2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 embedded antenna for higher throughput and more reliable connections in multi-stream applications.
MIMO · 2400–7125 MHz
TFWB-6-60
Wideband 4G and 5G flexible PCB antenna covering the full cellular range, suited to embedded IoT gateways and routers.
617–6000 MHz
TFD-7-60
Compact 4G and 5G flexible PCB antenna for space-constrained designs that still need reliable cellular connectivity.
698–6000 MHz
TFD-868-915
Compact 868 and 915 MHz ISM band antenna for LoRaWAN, Sigfox and other LPWAN protocols.
868 / 915 MHz

Key Design Characteristics

Across the TF range, four characteristics define the design.

Compact FPCB Form Factor

Flexible PCB substrates let each antenna conform to non-flat surfaces and fit into tight enclosures, which makes them well suited to industrial devices, smart infrastructure equipment, payment terminals, vending machines and a wide range of OEM hardware.

Ground-Plane Independent

Performance is consistent regardless of whether the host device provides a metallic ground structure, which removes one of the most common causes of late-stage redesign in embedded antenna projects.

Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Ready

The frequency coverage spans the bands required for current and next-generation wireless, including 4G and 5G cellular, the full Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 range, and the 868/915 MHz LPWAN bands.

In-House RF Testing

Each model is designed and tested in Panorama's own RF facilities, with tuning support available for OEM customers integrating the antennas into specific enclosures.

Why It Matters for IoT Developers

Antenna selection is often one of the last decisions in a connected product design, yet it has an outsized impact on real-world performance. Poor antenna integration leads to dropped connections, reduced range and costly late-stage redesigns. Panorama's approach with the TF range is to combine its decades of RF engineering experience with in-house testing and tuning services, helping OEM customers de-risk antenna integration early in the development cycle rather than at the prototype stage.

Millbeck has been a Panorama Alliance Partner for years, and that relationship matters in practice for two reasons. First, it means we hold stock and can advise on the full Panorama range, including specialist embedded products like the TF series. Second, our team has hands-on experience pairing Panorama antennas with the cellular routers, IoT SIMs and gateway hardware Millbeck supplies, so antenna selection sits inside the wider connectivity design rather than as a separate purchase. For embedded projects where an external antenna is not practical, the TF range is a strong addition to the options Millbeck can specify and supply for a given build.
