Description

The Teltonika RUT901 is a compact industrial 4G LTE Cat 4 router built for professional M2M and IoT deployments. It delivers up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload over a dual-SIM cellular connection, with automatic failover between SIM slots configurable in RutOS. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and a full suite of industrial protocols — including Modbus TCP, MQTT, DNP3, and OPC UA — make it a practical fit for remote monitoring, SCADA telemetry, and smart metering applications.

RutOS, the OpenWrt-based operating system running on every Teltonika router, gives the RUT901 enterprise-grade networking in a compact enclosure. VPN support covers OpenVPN, IPsec IKEv2, WireGuard, ZeroTier, and GRE. OSPF, BGP, and policy-based routing are included as standard. The 4-pin industrial DC input accepts 9 to 30 V DC, with passive PoE input on LAN1 for flexible installation in panel or cabinet environments. For remote deployments, Teltonika RMS provides centralised monitoring, configuration, and firmware management across the entire fleet.

At 83 x 25 x 74 mm and 125 g, the RUT901 fits DIN rail, wall mount, or flat surface installations with an optional mounting kit. The aluminium housing with IP30 rating is rated to operate from -40 to +75°C, covering most indoor industrial environments. Both mobile SMA antenna ports on the rear panel should be connected for full 2x2 MIMO performance — the MAIN port is required; the AUX port improves signal quality and should not be left unconnected in production installations. As a Teltonika Diamond Partner, Millbeck Communications holds full technical and commercial support for the RUT901 with UK stock and next-working-day delivery.
